240 wagon going to the scrap yard Monday. free decent seats and body parts 200 1989

I made plans for the local junk yard to pick up the car Monday. I am located near Rochester,NY. The tan seats I rebuilt last year using a passenger seat leather. Basically other than the interior its just the shell that is left.

I consider it payback for all the free advice that has kept the car on the road this long..

Do you happen to still have the antenna unit that goes on the DS rear behind the long window? Manual or electric. Email me at xraybob240@comcast.net

Thanks.

The antenna is manual and is next to the drivers side windshield. Don't have much time to spend removing items from the car before it meets its fate Monday. Although I do have to pull it out of the garage and could quickly grab a part someone needed.
Sorry I don't have the time to remove the interior parts. I was hoping someone lived nearby could remove them or what ever else they wanted that was left.
I did disassemble the wiring harness from under the dash and engine compartment. That was a real pain. Figured someone could use it someday to keep their 240 going.
Girlfriend named the car Betsy. Its the first car we bought together nearly 9 years ago. We hate to see her go. But her parts will live on in Louise, our 91 240 wagon. You don't want to know what I call girlfriend for naming them ...
One more thing I find quite amusing. The scrap yard is willing pick it up and pay 150 dollars just for the shell. They were also willing to pay 300 dollars if the car could have been driven there. Unfortunately poor Betsy's rear was shot.

I would take the rear seat back (cover?) if yours is in good shape. My '87 has the flip-out arm rest in the middle, that is OK and the seat bottom is fine but the back is bad. Also, the cover over the driver's side rear wheel area, front half is tan vinyl, rear half is (faded) brown-ish carpet like the cargo area (-:

Also need a cruise control module #3517400, and an odometer motor circuit board (I replaced the gear and resoldered pins but still no odo, thought I'd try swapping in a known good board).

I'm in Seattle, happy to reimburse you for your help.
Thanks!

I did attempted to get the back seat back out. but it wouldn't budge. Planned on giving it another try tomorrow but the tow truck just called and is picking it up as I am typing this. Did get the buckets and rear seat out. Also managed to get the door panels out and the chrome side trim.

The sad part 200 1989

is that the body is probably the most valuable piece. '89 and up bodies appear to be designed to last.

I'd be up for the drivers seat bottom cover (or just covers in general) if you're willing to send to Alaska...
