Hi,

I've recently found out that the pistons in 3 of my brake caliper pistons are a bit sticky, resulting in bad braking. Can someone give the a source for some rebuilt calipers? Or alternatively, does anyone want to convince me to rebuild the calipers myself (or won't I be able to do that if the calipers are sticking)?

Ditto for Autozone. Had a sticky front on my '86 and replaced both of my fronts with ones from AZ about 3 to 4 years ago. No problems at all....the LTW is a plus also. Go for it.

As a side note I always seem to have a set of bad calipers laying around.When I need to replace a caliper I bring one of my spares because they always need the core back.Cuts back on my down time.I can get the new free calipers,give them the core on the spot then replace at my leisure.

I have purchased rebuilt calipers from Auto Zone.They come with lifetime warrantys.Since I plan on keeping my Volvo for a long time this was the way to go for me.I bought all 4 calipers.The rears lasted 3 years then I got new ones,free.Another 3 years later and I replaced the rears again[last month],once again for free.You may want to look into this.

I've have had good results with the 5 rebuilds I have purchased from Advance Auto. Order online and pickup at store to get their discounts.
