Head Pipe With EGR / Without EGR Whats the Difference? 200

I'm trying to stay ahead of the curve maintaining my 240's. I want to change the header pipe on one of them before it can't be avoided. The last header pipe I replaced was on a car with EGR and I was able to find a stainless steel header pipe for it. The current specimen does NOT have EGR.

Does anyone offer a header pipe in STAINLESS STEEL for a 240 WITHOUT EGR?

Or, what is the difference between a non-EGR and an EGR header pipe? I'm thinking that the EGR header pipe might be able to be adapted to a non-EGR car.

Head Pipe With EGR / Without EGR Whats the Difference? 200

The header pipe for the EGR is sligthly shorter than the non EGR pipe to compensate for the larger EGR cat and uses a spin flange. For non EGR header pipes come in both spin flange and fixed flange. A few years back I replaced a EGR header pipe with a Miller SS one. Looked decent and I'm 90% sure its stainless. Fast forward 4 years and I used the same SS pipe on a non EGR model because I liked the first. Now I'm 90% sure its not stainless and the pipe didn't look as nice as the first plus I had to weld a 4~5 inch piece of pipe to the end of the cat to make it fit. IMHO just get a stock pipe.
