ABS light is on and OBD light glows dim 900 1993

1993 940 wagon with 125k miles.

Symptoms began with the ABS light coming for the duration of a drive then staying off for several trips but now the ABS light is continuously lit and when i tried to pull the OBD codes the LED glows dimly when i insert the probe. The LED goes bright when i depress the button but no codes are revealed. No flashing at all.

So far I have:
1. pulled and checked all fuses including the ABS fuse on the computer under the steering wheel.
2. pulled and cleaned the wheel speed sensors.
3. disconnected checked and re-connected all the connections from the ABS module to the 2 front wheels and the rear differential.

Does anyone have a similar experience?
thanks.

ABS light is on and OBD light glows dim 900 1993

problem solved. I followed the FAQ instructions related to the faulty ABS Overvoltage Relay and determined it was in fact a dud. Pulled a replacement from a car being junked and now both the OBD and instrument cluster have correctly functioning lights.
