Most parts are from my 89 240 wagon. I stripped out most parts before salvaging. Some tan interior parts, A short block with 160,000 miles, complete wiring harness, Good transmission, and more. Don't have the time to ship. All of what I mentioned is free, though I could use a set rear door shocks for a 940.

    I could use some hubcaps, and a set of wheels would be wonderful. Did you save any of the relays,AMM, ECU, that kind of stuff? If so, I'd like to swing by sometime, too, and would happy to give you a few bucks (or a case/bottle of your favorite beverage) for you trouble. I'm in the Syracuse area.

      I'm saving the AMM and the ecu. Someones coming for the motor and the wiring harness tomorrow. I do have 7 or 8 hubcaps that I can save for you. They are in fair to decent shape. Some are originals other are repro's. Not sure if they are two sets of four though.
      If you are interested respond before the the other parts are taken tomorrow evening. He may be interested in taking it all except for the transmission crossmember that I will for the brickster from Geneva if he also responds by then.

    Hi,

    I just picked up a 1992 Volvo 240 for my 16 yr old to drive. I'm looking for a transmission crossmember (support) for the car, and a trim ring for the drivers side interior door handle, and a plastic cover for the drivers-side grab handle (interior roof). Could also use a spare set of steel wheel for the inevitable snowtires.

    I'm in Geneva, about 40 miles east of you. Can pick up and trade what-have-you for the parts.

      I still have the freecross member if you still want it. There's also a very good aw70 transmission and some interior parts as well. Forgot to mention the original radiator is still available for the taking.

        Hi,

        It's not that I don't greatly appreciate the offer, but I've located one in California for $20, and with the cost of gas to travel the 100 mile round trip, plus time and busted knuckles, it's probably cheaper to buy one that has never seen road salt, than to drive from Geneva to Rochester.

        If the deal can be made, it will be in the next few days. Otherwise, I'll be in touch with you to arrange the pickup if it's still available. Thanks again.

          This one if I remember has more grease on it than rust. But your right, unless there were other parts needed, not worth the trip.

      I do have the transmission cross member. Went to 15inch a while back and gave away the 14 inchers. I do have a number of hubcaps though. I did save the door panels, but not sure if I have the other parts you mentioned. The parts are in my garage which is several miles from where I now live in Webster,NY
