good morning! a/c just quit one day when driving home. Compressor not kicking on with switch on. Is there an inline fuse to check or is this in the fuse box? thanks!

I do not think there is an in-line fuse but probably one in the fuse panel with something else too.

You might want to check the low-pressure switch for continuity. It is located on the accumulator by the firewall. Also, check for power from one of the wires to ground with the cabin switch on and with the key on in position two.

The switch could have failed or you lost a bunch of refrigerant. The switch operates the clutch.

Good news is the switch is replaceable without opening up the system because it just unscrews off an internal Schrader valve.

    Phil
