1994 and earlier 960 wheels will fit nicely. The wheel offset for 960s changed with the 1995 model year, and the later wheels shouldn't be used on the 940s or 240s even though the bolt pattern is the same.

I have seen "upgrades" from the 240 14" wheels to the 740 15" wheels.
The width of the tire could be a problem, especially with snows. 185x65x15 will probably work, although the 900 series did use some 195x65x15.
The speedometer and odometer calibration will be somewhat off, but there are coinversion guides on the Internet. Other people have tried this switch with some success.

Like I said times are tuff for now ,I can find 15 inch tires used easier than 14 inch,I just look into a set of recaped winters for the rear ,thinking I need winter tires here in penna, thankyou for the replys.
