Can someone tell me what the amperage of the fuses on a 67 122 are supposed to be in order of top to bottom? 120-130

Searched a few threads and saw about 30 different variations in peoples fuseboxes.

I have an issue lately with the turn signals and wipers going out.

Put new fuses in the bottom 3 slots and everything worked fine and then about a week later the same thing happened. When I try and use the signals/wipers, the amp light goes on bright red.

The mini 25amp fuse is now busted but I am going to use the method of crimping the copper from a longer fuse to fix it.

Anybody have some insight?

Thanks!

This is what you should do for an easy fix:

I took my small drill bits and found one that fits the original hole and drilled the new hole before bending with a pair of needle nose pliers.

Uh, disconnect the battery before you get your drill out!

And find out what is loading the circuits. Don't forget to check the alternator output.

The factory greenbooks - Can't be wrong.

Fuse #1 - 25 AMP (top - mini fuse)
Fuse #2 - 8 AMP
Fuse #3 - 8 AMP
Fuse #4 - 8 AMP

WOW that manual would have been helpful to have before I completely rebuilt the entire car :(

Thanks so much for that link I'm fairly new to this 122 game just happened to stumble across my car sitting in a field with very little rust on it. This site has been invaluable so far and hopefully I can contribute more myself someday.

Cheers, Ryan

The same fuse that controls the turn signals also controls the amp light.
So a problem where the amp light blinks with the turn signals probably means a bad connection in that part of the fuse box.
122 fuse boxes are notorious for developing resistance between the brass laminations that are riveted together.
I ended up drilling out the rivets, soldering the laminations together and replacing the rivets with 6-32 machine screws and nuts.
I believe SWEM has a website detailing this fix or selling refurbed fuse boxes.

It makes more sense knowing the amp light is on the same fuse.

The problem was that the small 25'er was so old and worn that it kind of just disintegrated and I think a pot-hole may have been enough to break the metal strip on the fuse.

I went the route of taking the metal strip off of a longer 25amp and kinking it to fit the smaller size fuse with a dab of superglue to hold everything in place.

Really cheap and effective thx board!
