240 wagon rear shocks torque spec 200

Hi
I recently purchased some IPD HD rear coils and shocks but can't seem to find how tight to torque them down, anyone have a number?
Looking for the torque for the shock (upper and lower bolt) and the lower spring bolt.

Thanks
Gord

    Hi,

I don't have the Bentley manual at hand right now but I check the values in the Haynes manual:

shock absorber upper & lower: 63 in. lbs.
lower spring mounting: 168 in. lbs

Here's the torque specification from the Bentley Manual.

Coil spring mount to body (upper): 30 ft. lbs.
Coil spring mount lower mount: 14 ft. lbs.
Rear shock absorber to trailing arm or body : 62 ft. lbs.

The prior reply suggesting 62 inch lbs. for shock attachment may have been a typo.
