Windshield price 120-130 1967

I bought new rubber for my windshield with the intent to replace in warmer weather. I just saw this add on our local Craigslist:
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/pts/2793539244.html

1967 Volvo 121 wagon windshield brand new OEM Triplex glass, glass has no tint. $300.

Is this a 'deal'? I could reuse Xena's glass, the only problem is wiper streaks on the passenger side.

I do not think that it is a good deal. After my 122S 4 dr. was repainted about 18 months ago I had a new windshield, old rear window glass, and a new headliner installed. Labor was about $300. The new tinted windshield was $150. (I supplied the windshield and rear window gasket and a new headliner). I thought that these were very fair prices at the time.

That is good to hear. I was just thinking about back up, in case I manage to break mine on the way out.

$300 to install for your stuff was good, I just might look for a helper that knows how to do windows?

      I dread getting Xena painted.

BTW, I blow past your town when I go to Chicago twice a year.

You can always offer less to the seller. I paid $250 from Volvo 2 years ago. You probably will have metal repair to do when you remove the windshield. So plan ahead.

I think all the 122 windshields are the same. Price sounds a LITTLE high.
Some of the guys on the 1800list have mentioned getting windshields from dealers at reasonable prices.
You could check prices at a dealer or an auto glass shop.

      Hello,

Volvo suggested list price is $265.00 for both clear and tinted 122 windshields.
