Hello to all , I need to change out the auto trans in this car , I know the engine is the same as in a 240 VOLVO what I want to know is the trans the same as a 240 auto trans I thank you in advance for your know how RICH O'BRIN

    The automatic trans are the same; however, please read the FAQs before you change the trans. If you post the milage and the symptoms, the board can help you avoid replacement if possible. Flushing these trans does wonders for "failing trans". Also no 4th gear is either one of three items, relay, solenoid, or switch and a lot easier to fix. Rear bushings wear and are relative easy to replace. So post back so the members can help.
