Buzzing sound at highway speeds 200

For sometime now at highway speeds I can here a buzzing sound coming from the dash of my 85 240DL..The faster you go the more you hear it..It's hard to tell where in the dash because of road and wind noise at highway speeds...Could it be a relay???...Like a fuel relay trying to tell me I'll be walking real soon?...:)...It's just loud enough so you can hear it and only over 60 MPH..

Buzzing sound at highway speeds 200

Failing rubber seal to air vent under the ribbed vents by the windshield. Faster you go the more air goes through and causes a louder sound.

My 91 had a terrible screaming sound at highway speeds for quite a long time until the seal finally wore down and it stopped. Only way to access it would be to break open the dash AND remove air conditioner radiator, meaning purging the AC system. I used to have to put duct tape over the vents to stop the air and the sound.

Friend's 244 did the same thing but went away faster.

    ???

Block off the vents and see if the sound stops.
