fuel pump relay issue 700

most of the time i have no problems at all. occasionally, the fuel pump relay doesn't send a signal to the pump. i stick my hand in there and waggle it a bit and all is well. seems like a loose electrical connection. any ideas? im not keen on tracing wires or replacing the fuse/relay panel.

If replacing/fixing the fuel pump relay does not solve this, the socket where the relay plugs into may need the spade connector in the base tightened so it makes better contact with the relay.

THis is a common problem, either re-solder the circuit board or replace the relay. Cracks develop between the circuit board and the mounting posts of the relay.
