LH 2.2 AMM removing the plug 200 1988

Hi, folks,

I would like to adjust CO on a B230F with LH 2.2.

At the AMM is a plug which can be removed. But I can“t......

There are still two holes drilled in the plug (previous workshop?), and I can rotate the plug.
But if I try to pull the plug with a plier it resists heavenly.

Any idea how to pull it out?
Have I to dremel around the black plastic tube?
Or can I threaden the plug and screw a bolt in to pull at? But if yes how deep?

Any pictures of the adjusting screw under the plug are welcome, if anyone has this.

cheers from Europe!

Michael

Go ahead and get rough. Yank it with a wood screw, or mangle it out with strong pick. The adjustment screw behind it is just a mechanical coupler with an o-ring seal leading to the potentiometer well behind it. In other words, the sensitive electronics are amply protected by the coupler between the tamper cover and the pot. Pretty sure I have a photo somewhere...

Be careful of your tongue: It's kept in a wet place and could easily slip.
