Sorry, not having any luck searching for previous posts with this particular issue. Thought I'd fish for some advice before pulling my door apart.

Suddenly, only the electric unlock function works properly for all doors, and tailgate, with the key or with the driver's door lock button but neither has any effect to re-lock the doors.

Any suggestions on where I should start my investigation are welcomed and greatly appreciated.

    Hi Christopher,

    A good guess would say the red wire is broken inside the rubber in the driver's side door jamb. Pull on it. If it stretches, the wire is broken.

      You've saved me again. Pulling back the boot revealed a broken red wire and the green, with cracked insulation, likely is soon to follow.

      If I'm ever near Baltimore, I'm buying you a sandwich.
