For months I have been wanting to get connected to the volvo community ( some refer to it as a cult lol). I had some free time so i decided to sign up. I am a youngblood volvo owner, Ive owned 3 240s. But with that aside let me introduce myself. My name is James, yet another volvo enthusiast. I have only driven 240s since i started driving, I plan to keep it that way. Anyway I just wanted to say my hellos to all of the volvo drivers out there! Cheers! *raises pint*

Welcome to the forums. Volvo has been referred to as "the thinking person's car," and you'll find that it is generally true; our membership here shows an inordinate number of professors, PhDs, engineers, and scientists . . . but most of them are really smart people anyway. : )

We also have an exceptionally large number of people from Autaugaville Alabama! In a town with a population of 870, most of them apparently drive old Volvos, and come here for advice. Either that, or a Brickboard glitch automatically assigns that city and state to all newcomers.

Maybe you guys need to shoot up flares or fly some pretty kites way up high by an Alabama flag to find each other!

Maybe a look in the phone book might work too, as that may be a more traditional and the old fashion way?

I have never tried the BB profiles for an e-mail. It might work too!

I understand cults are everywhere nowadays!
