Opinions on poly bushings from VP 140-160

VP sells standard and poly front end bushings.
Just wondering if anyone has used the poly on
daily drivers. I'm leaning toward the poly,
but wish I had some real world experience.

A slightly harsher ride than rubber bushings would be ok. Rock hard wouldn't.
Opinions?

Poly bushings are fine. I've run them in 240, 740 and 122 series cars. Do your research before sending any money to VP though...

VP? I thought they have a good reputation.

Maybe you're thinking of JP who has a lousy reputation?

I gather John Parker vs. VeteranProduktor? I've had great luck with VP, and steered clear of John's business, although it looks like he's got some cool items.

I used the poly for a while & all that accomplished was other broken parts/I got a link kit from NAPA,& the bushing are harder rubber & they have held up just fine for 5000 miles so far,,Much better & thicker link also in the package.

Whose poly bushings did you use?

We have installed and sold several sets of the VP poly bushings and so far they have held up fine and we have not received any complaints.

I see. Sounds like it was enough to knock your fillings out. What other parts broke?
Were there other modifications to your car? Or was it stock with only the poly bushings?

I looked online for a kit from NAPA, but didn't see one.
I installed dealer bushings about 10 years and 80,000 miles ago. The lower A arm
bushings are pretty much gone now. I guess that isn't too bad, but was kind of
hoping they'd last longer than 80K considering that this car is not driven hard.
That's why I'm thinking of going with the poly bushings.
