I went in behind the ashtray looking for my fuel pump relay. The spot where it should be located as in FAQ is empty so its not located there. Its a right hand drive model in Australia would it be up above the glove box where my 93 240 one is located.?

Hope you're well. It is most unlikely that Volvos sold in Australia would be wired so differently from those sold elsewhere, such that a relay would not be on the main relay block.

It is possible, though, that cars marketed in Australia might have a fuel pump relay in a different format. For example, up to and including 1993 model cars sold in North America, the fuel relay is white and rectangular. For the 1994 and later 940s (only sold in North America until and including the 1995 models), the fuel pump relay is a bright blue cube, about 25mm on all sides. Do you see such a relay on the main relay panel?
