142E clutch kits? 140-160

Car now stops good. Now working on going better. Clutch slips when putting on the power. See this supplier on eBay- http://www.ebay.com/itm/390432908215?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648
Seems like a very good price.
Any feedback or pointers?

check your local parts suppliers....probably about the same price without shipping costs. ebay merchants often profit by charging inflated shipping. reface your drive plate and replace pilot and throwout bearing and you will never need to do it again (if you shift and clutch as smooth as I do).

Replace the pilot bearing while you're in there. That will probably be a separate purchase as they normally aren't included with the Sachs kits. At least it used to be that way.

Make sure there is freeplay between release brg and pressure plate. As the clutch facings wear the fingers come out and cause it to ride. The clutch should be adjusted regularly to prevent this.

Have double checked the adjustment. Just the right play on the arm when released. Would say that the unit is tired. Am ok with replacing- just curious (given how much variation there was on the brake parts)about the visible suppliers.
Thanks!
