1800 ES Fuel Level Sender Resistance 1800 1973

I'm slowly getting around to resurrecting my 73 ES that has been sitting dormant for 15+ years. I parked it with gas in the tank and I'm paying the price now! I had the tank cleaned out and have cleaned out the pump and got it running. The fuel level sender was a mess but I have managed to get it cleaned out fairly well and the arm freed-up to swing easily. I'm getting resistance readings of (roughly) 300 ohms at empty tank and about 35 ohms at full, with a smooth curve in the reading when swinging the arm up and down. Can someone tell me if I'm in the ballpark? I can't find the specs in my Haynes book or anywhere on the internet.

Excellent! Thanks, Eric. If I knew how to give you a thumbs-up, I would.

I'm using an older analog ohm meter so there could be a bit of error there. Like I don't know how old the batteries are in it.....

It sounds like it is probably working OK.
