Converting a turbo engine to NA version 200 1984

Have the chance to get a '84 245 that currently has a turbo/K-jet set up. Would it be doable to eliminate the turbo/K-jet and just run the engine as a NA version? Thanks.

Are you saying-run this motor sans turbo? with k-jet? with carb? stick a B21F in place of the B21FT? run it with k-jet? carb? or other? There are some solutions that can make sense but you need to be more specific about what you're proposing and what you'd like to see out of it. You could, for instance substitute a NA exhaust manifold and exhaust system and close up the oil feed and drain on the block and remove the water cooling if it has that too. It will be slow but can run. A B21F would be a better solution. If you had a donor car with a later motor and FI you could go that route -- there'd be lots of wiring to transfer. -- Dave

Crumb. Just get a non turbo car. It'll be MUCH easier than messing with all the low compression pistons, turbo-exclusive ECM and all that stuff.
