Tire size for Virgos 200

So I need new tires for my Virgos and 740 wheels.

What is the OEM size and what sizes have you guys ran?

There are 185/65/15s on the Virgos and 205/60/15s on the 740s which seem a little big? I dont know, I like the size and fitment on them but how different is that from OEM? I dont want to have to speedometer off by too much.

Those are the 740s I have.

I currently have 195/60/15 on mine. When I bought the wheels it had 205/60/15 which was ok. Personally I'm going 205/55/15 next time around. I can send a picture the 195/60/15.

The 740 wheels appear to be called Old Novas.

Use http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html to determine speedometer discrepancy. From 185/65r15 to 205/60r15 you're only 1% off.

Stock on a 240 turbo is 195/60-15.

To me, those are a little too low profile. I prefer 195/65.

But, 185-65 would work, and up to 205/65, or even 215/60 or 65.

Anything in that range will fit the wheels fine. 185 is a tad narrow, 215 is a tad wide.
