I have a 1994 940 non turbo that I can't get started. Any idea what the fuel pump pressure should be? Bendix injection system Fuel pump runs 45PSI, pulse at injectors, spark at plugs but yellowish not bright blue. I have changed the crank sensor, cap rotor and wires. Compression 130 to 140.

From the 700/900 FAQs:

"With engine off, the pump hot-wired at the fuel injection relay and FPR vac hose removed and plugged, pressure at the rail should be 43.5 psi. That makes it the equivalent of Wide Open Throttle, but with the FPReg feeling atmospheric pressure, rather than the normal vacuum of a running engine." Sounds like you're in the ballpark.

As far as the ignition, if you think the spark is weak, disassemble the coil/power stage and clean the internal contacts and all mating surfaces. That's a known failure point due to accumulated crud and oxidation. Cost = $0.00.

Thanks I will give that a try.
