Meyle Brake Hoses 700

I just bought Meyle front and rear rubber brake hoses for my 1990 740. (Girling up front with four lines and ATE in rear with two.)

After receiving them via FedEx this afternoon I was reading up on them and saw a review on the iPd site that was one star and said that the fellow had two of them fail about a month after the warranty ended (I think just over two years).

Did I just buy junk? Should I not put them on and pony up the bucks for dealership Genuine Volvo lines?

HELP! I am now a bit worried about putting these on my car!

NO! SAY NO TO MADE IN CHINA CRAPPY MEYLE!!!

NO. BAD. NO. CRAPPY! CRAPPY! MEYLE!

As bad, no, worse than made in Mexico crappy Sachs shock absorbers.

Made of rubber or have 'lectronics in it, by Volvo OEM. Best from Tasca.

Got metal in it or installs in your car, save for the stereo or comsumer 'lectronics, buy OEM Volvo or OEM vendor to Volvo in the aftermarket.

Else, go to an OEM vendor like ATE or Girling.

Or, by the stainless reinforced brake lines, yet if from some vendors, these may be crappy, also.

There exist other vendors of performance Volvo products.

You can search the brickboard on the current, active index for article about rubber break lines, and also go to the brickboard ARCHIVES so you see all like 16 years of articles on this same topic.

Get your MOTIVE brand brake fluid power bleeder ...

Of course, the Volvo Group AB sold Volvo Cars AB to crappy, nasty Ford. Ford was jealous how GM so easily killed dearly departed SAAB (the beloved Volvo cousin)> Now crappy Geely junky China owns it all.

Gabrielson and Larson sigh from their afterlife perch.

cheers,
