What is the lifetime of this year transmission?

    Like Onc says, need more detail, but my 90 AW failed at about 260k. All my others have worked fine, with some close to 295k.

    Or, they last til one day after you post the question... :-)

      Or about 30 days after they get coolant contamination from the fluid cooler in the radiator tank.

        to reiterate Onk's answer- which tranny?
        I have a AW70 with I would guess 258k on it- I replaced the seals and gaskets, bushing sleeve last year- no problems- keep clean fluid in it- in spite of what everyone says...there are other parts that have to be kept up too- intermediate bearing on shaft, transmission mount and support.
