'95 940, NA, runs great, no issues except the CEL comes on about 20 mins after being shut off by disconnecting the battery. The diagnostics box flashes 1-1-1...
Also, it passed emissions fine. What can be up with the CEL?

    Both 2 and 6? You sure it is is not the "Service Engine Soon" light?

      Port 6? Ok, got a couple of codes there, EGR related... BTW, I can't find the EGR section in the FAQ, much as I looked. What is it under?

        Hope you're well. If you provide the Codes from Port 6, I'll be happy to provide the explanation given in the Volvo pocket data booklet - Cars (700,850,900) 1991-1996.

          It flashed codes 2-2-4 and 1-5-4 in port 6, port 2 was 1-1-1...
          The car is a '95 940NA with Bosch ignition and Pulse Air and EGR.

          I looked up the codes in the FAQ and am led to believe that an EGR service may be in order as the car has 193k and evidence of some mechanical neglect.

        Honestly that is as far as I go. i just was not sure if you knew to pull both ports.

        Throw us your codes and tell us what fuel/ignition system you have and I bet you will get a lot of responses.
