will 2000 s80 wheels fit onto my 90' 740 wagon ? 700

A guy is selling some 17' s80 wheels
I would love these for my 1990 740 non turbo wagon

With the appropriate spacers would this fit and work well ?

Would look great if they worked I think

He was wants 250 for them. With crappy tires...
Only one wheel has a tiny bit of cancer...

Fit, yes.

Work well...maybe.

The offset difference requires about 1" spacer. This in turn requires longer studs and quality spacers are not inexpensive. They need to be hub-centric.

2000 wheels are FWD offset, i.e. deep backspacing, and will probably hit suspension or steering parts before they're all the way on. Spacers and extra-long studs should not be used. If you really love the wheels you could use adapters which bolt on to the hub and have their own studs. These usually cost as much as the wheels themselves.
