shift lock and other 200

My search on the brickboard seems to be flawed as it comes back with a error (404)
With that being said I have a problem with my wife's 91 244 .
yesterday I had to go get her car home after it failed to start.
First the starter would not engage, after i jumped it at the solenoid it would run but not come out of park , I had to use bypass to get it into gear,
finally on the drive home it would not go into over drive and the button was not engaged, although it usually works fine do I have i problem or several ? I really need some direction fuse, also # 7 is good

Hi Albert,

Check to see if your brake lights work.

Then check to see if the light comes on in your snowflake (AC) switch.

thanks Art ,after interviewing people who tried to help before i got there i may be on to something.
problem started when wife left park lites on and run battery completely down.
someone forced shifter so they could move it and use jumpers on it .
this caused probe on right side of shifter to come out of slot it runs in ,after getting it back in all problems cleared up except not going to overdrive.
I thinking this may have already been a problem and she hadn't noticed the high revs.
I was thinking of ordering a bypass plate of of e-bay ,do you think I'm heading in the right direction ? last time i drove it this function worked fine
Albert
