With installation of an aftermarket steering wheel and adapter (without an airbag), how does one get rid of the red SRS airbag light on a 92 240?

Remove the cluster and pull the bulb?

That's basically what they did when a warning light is not needed eg. choke light in carbed cars not needed with fuel injection.

Having been in a head on collision in a 1990 240 where the combined impact speed exceeded 100 mph, the SRS System (belt retractor and airbag) allowed me to walk away with a single bruise...the other driver wasn't so lucky...I would seriously reconsider swapping out the OEM Steering wheel and Airbag.

I wonder how that would all play out in a court case disputing medical payments, having done those modifications.
