If the sunroof on my 940 refuses to open/close, I can use a screwdriver to operate it.

Will that work on an S90 moonroof?

answer is yes
same procedure as on a 940

remove motor trim cover from headliner, push in on center slotted pin, turn larger slotted shaft with large screwdriver

The cover is a torx screw if it is like the 740.

the S90 sunroof motor cover (headliner) is a snap fit, no screws
