To all whom responded to my need for help...Thank you.

The latest news in the 240 relm, after replacing the suggested items and I do have all the "known good" spares, the final part replaced was the inline fuel pump. It was the original pump as it had the undrecoating that was put on at the dealership or factory. So I was really suprised that it only lasted 472000 miles.
There's something good to be said about OEM! So, just turned 473000 on her and is running great.
