window tinting 200 1989

Finally did it. Been wanting to tint the bricks' (station wagon) windows but thought it was going to be wayyy too expensive, maybe like $500+. Decided to actually call a few places. Surprise, anywhere from $240-$280 for what I wanted done. Found one not far from home, quoted me on the phone: $240. They also had a $20 off coupon on their websight. (I didnt tell them I had the $20 off coupon until they quoted me the $240.)

Shop looked good; samples on walls, 2 more samples on actual vehicles in their large showroom. Opted for the 35%. The 20% just seemed a bit too light. They did the rear hatch window, the 2 long side windows beside the cargo area, and the 2 rear door windows. They had a decent waiting area.

1.5 hours later, done. Beautiful! (IMO of course.) Wife liked it also.

Staff was fairly young, pleasant. They take plastic, checks, cash. $220 (with coupon) + tax: Final total $233. Oh, comes with 3 year warranty.
Hoping the summer heat will now be a bit less inside the brick. (We park outside at home.)

Pays to shop around.
