        Thank you. Hope the snow was not too much a bother to shovel.

        On the Volvo Tips the Volvo 140 green manual section is a host of jpegs. I'd thought I'd futzed it with javascript, media, cookies, and html5 all off. It appears to be jpeg files in this Volvo Tips 140 electrical section (?), lest the two ales by now have obscured reality nicely.

        The k-jet PDF versions appear a much high resolution, though. Rather for the PDF file. Likes PDF.

        Many of the other Volvo Tips sections require Flash player 8 or higher like for 240 and 1800. Maybe Volvo Tips has yet to incorporate the jpegs into a flash file? You could do the same for PDF, merely merge image files into a PDF file.

        (Of course you always want the newest version of the flash player media runtime in your browser. I'm sticking with version 18 (18_0r0_329), though Adobe released new versions of 11 and 20 with 18 in the last few days.

        And be sure your browser is current. FireFox 44.0.2 for Win-32 and Win-64 bit here.

        I use the offline installers for Flash player here:

        Adobe tries to sneek stuff in with some online installers, including Adobe Acrobat and Reader, it seems.

        Though if you are clever with the HTML (in this instance) or the JavaScript, see the swf file. You may be able to download it and look as you please with your off-line shockwave-enabled flash player.

        Gets the offline Adobe reader update, usually, from:

        ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/
