I have already put out the message I have sold the car. I can't say enough about the buyer, he was a wonderful person to work with. I did have some sarcastic feed back when I stumbled over how to advertise on here. The gentleman AB replied a few times with some helpful hints and I thank him. The sacarism I experienced from MACHINE MAN, I was able to ignore, because I realize he has no idea of the fact it was my first sale of a vehicle and he could have been helpful but chose a different road. Hopefully others on here don't run into people like this and I am grateful the majority of you are very helpful and I have taken advantage of that when I owned the car it has save me a fair amount of money. I enjoyed being part of this site. THANK YOU

    Hello Maroon

I first would like to apologize for sounding harsh to you!

Unfortunately sometime my intentions, for me, goes beyond words.

In my post I made reference to the car being sold next to a dentist office. I'm sure or pretty sure, you do not live next to a dentist office.
It was in response back to Art, maybe my own knee jerk, about several posts that are done. These start out without telling, those trying to help, the Check Engine Light, is or was on recently on before the battery was disconnected.
It was a famous bit (come back line) with the, Car Talk guys!

What another surprise to me you are! I would have never known, from your posts that you were first of all a woman.
I surely thought I was talking to a guy over who works on his own car.
It's still no excuse for me though, so, I baited myself in on that one trying to be humors but pointed?

Since you are 81, I will say you did not get there by putting up with the likes of me.
I appreciate you getting this out in the open as perceived sarcasm on the Board can always be worse left unchecked on the accused offender.

    Again, I apologize.

    Phil

Phil I do accept your apology it is not an easy thing for some people to do.
Taking responsibility for ones actions is not that common today. Once again Thank You. I like to handle things on my own and don't always ask my son who is a classic car lover for his advice. I hope to follow my father's footsteps and drive right into the 90's if my wits permit me. He passed at 100 not long ago. In Canada we have to take a drivers test every 2 years after 80, plus an eye test for being able to follow an object quickly. I spend a lot of time around the guys in the garage when they are replacing engines, brake jobs, changing gas tanks and more and I am expected to know what they are talking about, and do absorb a lot of it. Thank You I will miss asking advice on here but could not handle a stick anymore. Knee problems.
