I have probably destroyed one of my front ABS (wheel speed) sensors trying to get it out to clean. Low speed pulses and ABS light - it's dirty, I'm sure. Seized in the hole, and gentle wiggling became, after several minutes, ungentle prying, followed by forceful yanking and twisting. Still stuck half way.

Looks like the 240 sensors are rare and very expensive, but the 740/940 are not.

Long shot here: does anyone have specs on the pulses sent by both, and dimensions? I bet they're very close, perhaps so that all that is needed to make a 940 sensor fit a 240 is some shimming or a collar.
