SU damping oil 120-130

Good day
Is ATF suitable for use as damping oil in SU carburetors?
Thanks
Greig

I use Marvel Mystery oil. One of the world's most useful accessories.

ATF is perfect and is in fact what Volvo says to use. People that use thicker oil are masking a problem with needle selection or other problems like incorrect ignition curve or retarded cam timing.

Original SU oil is approximately 20 wt.

Most ATF is 10 wt.

So I mix equal parts of 30 wt engine oil and ATF to achieve approximately 20 wt.
