Engine surging

My 2001 xc70 AWD shows a "throttle position sensor code" . While driving engine surges. I have purchased a different throttle body, but still surging what can I do to resolve this issue?

Try posting this in the AWD forum for a better response. This is the RWD forum.

You said you bought a new throttle body. Did that include the module? The (TCM) throttle control modules on most Volvos built between 1999-2001 are notoriously short-lived. Sounds like a TCM issue to me but try posting in the AWD forum for more opinions.
