Regina FI temp. sensor question 900

Hey to ya`s, can anyone tell me the correct part number for the Regina / Rex fuel injection temp. sensor? I have found that most places list the same part number for the Bosch L H 2.4 systems and I know they are different. The Regina green book says the part number is 1346030-8. This I believe is true but the parts houses list for both systems a Bosch 1346030 without the number 8 at the end. The one we bought from BAP GEON is a Bosch 0280130069. Thanks for any help. Larry

Regina FI temp. sensor question 900

    Dear ledfoot,

Hope you're well. The temp sensor for the fuel injection system (in Volvoese a "lat sensor") is the same for Bosch and Rex-Regina engine/ignition management systems.

The part is #1346030. This is stated in Volvo, "Pocket data booklet - Cars (700, 850, 900) 1991-1996", p. 31 [Bosch] and p. 34 [Rex/Regina]. The same information is found in Volvo VADIS, the superseded dealer parts/service database. The numeral following the "-" is a parts system "check digit" and may be disregarded, when ordering parts.

    The Bosch part is # 0 280 130 032.

MSRP at a Volvo dealer in North America should be about $87.

    Hope this helps.

    Yours faithfully,

    Spook

I have only dealt with this company once, for an OE O2 sensor in my V70, and they got it right on the first try. Personally I would trust their catalog.

Scroll down on this page and you'll see the two Bosch versions, one for turbo (LH system) and one for NA (Regina). I don't know what year 940 - I picked 1995. Probably doesn't make much difference.
