Hi Geof,

I use "Fluid Film" in a 12 oz. spray can on mine.

To my mind this is also the ultimate lube for hood and door hinges and latches, as well as any motor sleeve bearings. Starter, wiper, blower etc.

It is a semi viscous oil/ grease that penetrates well and doesn't dry out.

Good luck,
Peter

I didn't know of Fluid Film before. It seems like it would be useful for many tasks.

Fluid Film...available at your local John Deere distrib

a non petro-based....composed of lanolin AKA sheep...PS like Vit D3

will not deterioate rubber/plastic mountings unlike petro based lubes.

A farm use product...non polluting.

Don't forget to lube the pivot pin that connects to the shifter shaft under the car. -- Dave
