tips to get at side mirror on 940 900

I find it difficult to remove triangular trim piece covering the mount screws for the mirrors. Seems I always ruin the plastic studs on the trim. Any tips on how to get the trim off?

You can find videos on youtube.

Though to not distress the triangular trim piece through which the manual mirror lever peeks through (unless power side mirrors), I'd go to the bother of removing the inner door card before hand.

You may find the door interior may need some cleaning up along the bottom, power window retaining bolts are loose, wire may have come lose from how the factory routed them, and so forth.

At k-jet.org, you can find some factory green manuals for 700-900 that *may* include interior procedures.

Using the search here or on your fave search engine may provides results you need.
