Installed led headlights 95 940 900

Hi, I have been fixing up a 95 940 sedan and thought I would share this, ordered some Vplus x series 9004 off of Amazon and was extremely pleased with the result. Had a little trouble locking them in because the backs of my headlights are in pretty bad shape so used a couple of strips of high temp silicone tape to help secure them in place. These use a heat sink on the back to keep them cool and the light looks closer to hid instead of led.... ie completely white. I at first thought they might be too bright but no one has flashed their lights at me so far. You can turn your hi beams on but that does not seem to have much effect...it changes the dispersal pattern but to my eyes low beam looks brighter. I guess because of the way they are oriented in the housing.... must have hit the sweet spot on internal reflection. Anyway just thought I'd share, price is about double a premium halogen bulb.... no idea how long they will last but definitely a awesome upgrade... plug and play, no errors....the only thing that gave me pause when ordering is I saw some complain about radio interference.... I think that might be true, my stations are coming through fine but I think there is a drop in signal strength, I looked it up and may pick up some ferrite magnet clip on next to the bulbs.... read that will cure it..... has to do with the frequency of the power supply being close to the fm and so the power cable kind of act like an antenna, so a fertile magnet like you see on some electronic equipment power cords stops any reverse fflow frequencies. Hope this helps someone, Scott
