flex plates - 240 motor installed in a 940 200 1990

Put a 240 motor into a 940. Hadn't seen a 940 flex plate but heard it was different from the 89-up 240 flex plates.

940 plate at top; 240 plate below. markings are basically the same ie. there's an arrow on the back (engine-block side) that lines up with the CPS.

The 940 plate also had the 2 pins (on the engine-block side) in the same position as the 240 pins. They are not marked with cutouts on the 940 as they are on the 240.

Hi Jon H,

Here's your image.

See the full size image in the BrickPix posting here (copy and paste URL in new browser window):

Or copy and paste Jon's original image:

The relative URL does not point well in some browsers if the page does not serve up a reference to the source, or something. Or it is malformed by the HTML code BrickPix serves up in the HTML field of each image.

Absolute image URL:
https://www.brickboard.com/GALLERY/images/12820.jpg

I'd use double quotes or, as Art shows, no quotes, yet the full (not relative )URL every time.

Art's instructions in happy and bright!:
