Don't see an advert for your 1975 Volvo 164 in the ClassAds.

    Maybe try again?

Also, any images, for those interested?

You could post an advert to https://brunswick.craigslist.org/

I do not see any Volvo 164 adverts on https://brunswick.craigslist.org/search/sss, using the "include nearby areas" search option.

Also, you could post here free: https://www.ipdusa.com/classifieds.asp

    Requires iPd customer account.

Else, maybe try posting to UK and Europa Volvo enthusiast sites, to gin up interest across the pond, yet selling internationally can prove a headache.

There are a few sites in facebook that are 140-160 specific ...

    Volvo 164
    https://www.facebook.com/groups/12163788922/

    Volvo 140/160 Snack
    https://www.facebook.com/groups/718053204879403/

    ... and others.

I really want to own a 1972 164 with M410, or convert to manual, yet well, we'll see, for the last two decades .... !

    Hope that helps.

    Yellow Turmeric MacDuff.

Thanks for the tips on selling, however, I try to minimize my exposure to sites like e-bay or craig's list. It appears my for sale post did not go through. Just as well, I would rather people call me to talk about the car and I can forward pictures on demand if required. With new tires, this car is a daily driver. I want the car to stay within the Volvo owner world.

Hi miss piggy. I under stand.

Thank you B20 Paul. My over head Volvo dream seems as real as me flapping my arms and flying to the moon as it is made of cheese! Thank you. Sort of getting old to do this without a huge basement garage.

If you get the wide ratio m400 with 3.54 1st, you really only need the 3.31 gears that are in all the auto 164s. I actually think a new 3.15 CWP would be great with a new truetrac centre.

If you get an m410 and are lucky enough to get a medium ratio box with 3.13 1st, then 3.73 is the ok. If you have a racy motor, then 3.91 or 4.10.
