Got the front suspension rebuild done on my 544. All new bushings, tie rods etc. Now I'm trying to figure out how to set the caster since I replaced the eccentric bushings. (Understand how to adjust, not to measure) Is there a down and dirty way to get it ballpark at home?

    I use a fas trax tool. Two vinyl floor tiles with grease spread between them makes decent turntables. You should be able to get it set within 0.25 deg. You need a special tool to adjust the nut. I made one out of 1/8" plate and a socket extension but i see that skandix now sells SVO 2201 which is their part #1059124.

    Did you rebuild the front end yourself or have a professional do it? If the latter, can I ask how many labor hours they put into it?

      Did it myself. Ho idea how long it took. Doing it a couple hours at a time as I could get the time and also waiting after disassembly to order parts.
