I have a 1982 K-Jetronic car which drug addicts have butchered. After repairing a sticking control plunger problem I have found that the car is running well, but NOT idling correctly. This has an electric stepper motor controlled Bosch Idle system, and I need the diagram to repair the wiring to the switches on the throttle body.

TP30414-1 Would be helpful.

Volvo Tips:
- is incomplete, yet does host much content not duplicated by many sites
- hosts publication data in shockwave flash files, requiring Adobe shockwave flash player in the client browser or run time, a media runtime fraught with security issues each month. PDF is just fine.
- hits you with a massive amount of advertising in video and such in an annoying JavaScript framework that slows this browser down on this dual core i5.

You can open the Volvo Tips html and doanload the .sw file to the local client computer. Yet you still need shockwave flash player.

So, as the K-Jet.org admin has shuttered the site, perhaps he'd be amenable to loading up a USB drive for posting on a Volvo Wiring Diagrams or an ad-supported web-hosting service with adequate storage space and data transfer quotas per period if nothing more than to maintain access of the greenbook and all other publications for use by the Volvo community.

I may do so. Unless someone else could.

K-Jet.org, as a repository, is invaluable. The loss cannot be replaced by the available sites and what content they host, imho.

Thanks. Could you tell me how to open the html. I'm using firefox and xp. In firefox tools menu there is a web developer sub menu with a dozen items like web console, developer tool bar, debugger.

this is an Add-On to Firefox. It is one of the most popular. It allows you to Download the Flash video and then play it back at your convienence.
I use it all the time.

What does not work?

The download of the sw file, or convert to mp4 and download.

The sw file format for image display is very different. You may get fidelity loss converting from .sw to .mp4. MP4 is not very good at static images. Also, the .sw file gives you navigation control using the .sw file reader or using the (always current) Adobe shockwave player.

You can install shockwave flash player for use in your browser, and open the downloaded folder in the browser.

I use several browsers. The final version of the Presto browser as Opera 12.17.

I disable JavaScript, CSS, and such.

FireFox up to date version 53.

Current Flash version is 25.0.0.148.

I use an offline flash installer. I always keep flash disabled unless I want to see something. Mozilla has warned its user community that FireFox may soon no longer support Adobe flash of any sort.

Yet in FireFox, to download the flash file:

Disable the shockwave flash by choosing "Never Activate" on the Add-ons page

navigate to the page:

With flash disabled you'll see a box with the flash icon with a question mark in some browsers, or nothing like in FireFox 53.

While on that page you press the Ctrl (Control) + U simultaneously to display that page HTML.

See the embed tag and the blue underlined:

That's the flash file. Right-click and download it to your directory of choice on your Windows XP computer.

You may be able to use Windows Media Player, WinAMP, and other media players that can display flash content without Flash installed on your computer. Or enable flash in the browser and use the Open file command in FireFox, navigate, and open the file.

As you are using Win XP, I hope you have some manner of antivirus / antimalware. You can configure the Win XP firewall to prevent unwanted external connection by protocol and port, or universally. Also, turn off all sharing on any internal hard drives from the drive properties dialogue and also, through Remote Setting, disable Remote Connections.

I hope you can upgrade to a Win 7 computer or a current Mac OS. You can run Avira Free Anti Virus, the Microsoft Security Essentials, and the like.

You may want to be sure the FireFox Popup blocker is enabled and you may want to use an adblocker.

Or, if on broadband, with a useful router or a router between the company equipment and your Win XP box, use a router with NAT (net address translation) or a dedicated Net Address Translator.

Yes, the alternator was sold off, and there is quite a bit of ‘‘graffiti’’ in the cab area. The windshield was smashed, along with the instrument cluster and steering column, among others, and the steering lock was broken and the ignition switch removed.

The hotwire-job melted through the main harness in several areas, and damaged the fuel pump relay. I’m still working through a couple of minor issues.
