It takes up to two weeks for a reply to a post to reach my email inbox. Is this typical of what other people are experiencing?

I am sure that a number of responses are going unnoticed due to this time delay. It would seem that this would be something that could be addressed and improved with a little attention to the software (wild, uneducated guess on my part).

I don't frequent Brickboard as much anymore since I sold my Volvo, but it's certainly "different" from most other web forums. One thing that annoyed me is that I never got notifications of new posts in a thread I had participated in unless there was a reply to one of my own posts.
