Are door lock cylinders swappable 700 1991

I broke the key off in the drivers door of my 1991 740. I tried to pick it out but no luck. Is it possible to swap the lock cylinders to the opposite side of the car?

    I believe so. The key lock cylinder (assemblies) all turn the same direction to lock and unlock.

    Though I'm unsure how they may very between left and right as to how they secure to the works like the power lock motor assembly, on the passenger door, and the pull up / down switch on the driver door.

    Maybe an image search using Bing or Google may help for images that detail these concerns where someone has a set of door locks to sell? Maybe check the flea bay for images with door locks and keys?
