Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

Hope you're well. I report that the Proparts Sweden Crankshaft Pulley / Harmonic Balancer (Volvo #9135194 / ProParts #21435194) - made in Korea - accepts the Volvo/IPD counter-hold tool. For no obvious reason, some "aftermarket" crank pulleys have slots too narrow to accept the counter-hold tool. The slots in the ProParts pulley are about 7mm in width (i.e., the narrow side of the slot)

The surface finish on the ProParts pulley is very smooth. Plainly, I do not know how this part will last: that depends critically on the durability of the rubber, between the steel core and the outer section, on which ride the drive belts.

Koreans' dedication to top-notch quality suggests this pulley will give many years service.

    Dear Spook,

    I've installed the same pulley from Proparts Sweden on Sept 2014. Until today no issues whatsoever. It also accepts my IPD crank holder nicely.
