control arm main busings 900 1996

Going to replace the main bushings in lower control but the replacement ones I got from Napa are metal instead of plastics -don't seem like they'll press in like plastic ones???? anyone had this issue with the difference in parts?
-- by the way got fuel pump issue fixed after replacing many components I should of checked for power at the pump first off.. had juice there all along the pump was dead..thanks for all the suggestions anyway..

Should be plastic: do you mean the rear, larger diameter bushing (9191537)? The front ones are rubber inside metal casing: 6819537. Meyle bushings are just a few bucks at FCP Euro, can't be that bad for the rear. For the front, I'd be wary of putting aftermarket bushings in after having destroyed my control arms with a set of Febi's (they were just a tad bigger in the outer diameter...)

yes the large ones .. at the rear of control arm.these are in 'professional parts sweden' boxes ? so i was not sure of the difference from plastic ones to the steel ones? don't seem like the steel will compress into the hole like the plastic ones?
