front end accident repair 700 1991

1991 740 sedan b230f

Hi,
I need to replace the hood, lights, grill.
But the crossmember (rear support that spans fender to fender) that the lights are bolted to and the upper rad support are bent in.
My question is: Is that body/chassis part bolted or welded? i.e. if I have a donor car (of same year model) can i unbolt it swap it over?

Thanks,
Greg

I believe you're taking about item #14 (LH & RH) in this diagram???

I'd say it's a bolt-in.

Never did that with a 740 but I can tell you the entire front end on the 240 is bolted together. I suspect the 740 is the same.
